Wilderness Parks

The Wilderness Parks is a collection of five parks in the area northeast of where I-75 crosses Fletcher/Morris Bridge Road in the area northeast of the University of South Florida, north of Temple Terrace. It’s quite a large area, some of it south of Morris Bridge and much of it north of Morris Bridge.

South of Morris Bridge and just east of I-75, you’ll find Morris Bridge Biking Area (aka Hole in the Fence). Across the street, on the north side of Morris Bridge Road, is Trout Creek Park. It’s possible to run a 14 mile loop stringing all these parks together. See parks and map below.

Wilderness Parks: Morris Bridge Biking area, Morris Bridge Park, Flatwoods Park (two entrances on Bruce B Downs and Morris Bridge Rd), Trout Creek Park.

Parking: $2 to park at all Wilderness Parks
