Group Runs
Run Tampa has a group run every Saturday and Sunday morning, unless we have a group race, every Tuesday morning, and every Thursday evening, except no Thursday run during June, July, and August.

Saturday is long run day; it’s our main run of the week. They rotate locations. See schedule below.
Sundays, we run the Riverwalk from Curtis Hixon Park on the first and third Sunday. We run Safety Harbor on the second Sunday and Upper Tampa Bay Trail on the fourth Sunday. ***When there is a fifth Sunday, that run is from Curtis Hixon Park.
Thursday night runs are also from Hyde Park Village. ***Note the Thursday night runs are on hiatus for June, July, and August. See details under the LOCATIONS tab.
Procedure: All runs for all levels. We circle for introductions and photo, then all start, stringing out according to pace. There is a specific route, but we always have people doing shorter runs and others continuing for more miles. No pressure to keep up with anyone else or slow down to stay with others. You do you.
Rain policy: We run in rain, not in a deluge, never in lightning. We make the call one hour prior. If 50% chance of thunderstorms, we cancel, post on Facebook, and send message via the Stack Team app.
Visitors/guests: Club members are welcome to bring guests. Non-members are invited to try a couple of runs before joining. Please reach out to Club Director Deb Voiles, first, via the Contact Form, to request a Visitor Waiver.

May 3 Saturday 7-9 a.m. Safety Harbor Run; meet in lot behind the Starbucks at 100 Main St.
May 4 Sunday 7-8 a.m. Downtown Hixon Park Riverwalk Run; meet on the Riverwalk behind Curtis HIxon Park
May 8 Thursday 6-7 p.m. Hyde Park Village Night Run; meet at fountain at 740 S. Village Cir.
May 10 Saturday *No group run as Run Tampa Club is doing the Run With Meb
May 11 Sunday 7-8 a.m. Second Sunday Safety Harbor Run; meet at the fountain behind the Starbucks on Main Street
May 15 Thursday 6-7 p.m. Hyde Park Village Night Run; meet at fountain at 740 S. Village Cir.
May 17 Saturday 7-9 a.m. Upper Tampa Bay Trail; meet in parking lot across from the lot behind Florida Cracker Fish Company
May 18 Sunday 7-8 a.m. Downtown Hixon Park Riverwalk Run; meet on the Riverwalk behind the park.
May 22 Thursday 6-7 p.m. This run will be moved to Upper Tampa Bay Trail, this week only, due to club party at Florida Cracker Fish Company.
May 24 Saturday 7-9 a.m. Davis Islands Run; meet at Marjorie Park Marina, 97 Columbia Dr.
May 25 Sunday 7-8 a.m. Upper Tampa Bay Trail 4th Sunday Run
May 31 Saturday 7-9 a.m. Flatwoods Park; meet at Bruce B. Downs entrance
June 1 Sunday 7-8 a.m. Downtown Hixon Park Riverwalk Run; meet on the Riverwalk behind Hixon Park.
June 7 Saturday, 7-9 a.m. Upper Tampa Bay Trail; Ehrlich Rd. Trail Head.
June 8 Sunday, 7-8 a.m. Safety Harbor 2nd Sunday Run; meet at the fountain behind the Starbucks on Main Street.
June 14 Saturday. No group run due to club race, RAP River Run, in New Port Richey. Click here to join the Run Tampa team.
June 15 Sunday 7-8 a.m. Downtown Hixon Park Riverwalk Run; meet on the Riverwalk behind Hixon Park
June 21 Saturday 7-9 a.m. Safety Harbor Run; meet at the fountain behind Starbucks on Main.
June 22, Sunday 7-8 a.m. Upper Tampa Bay Trail 4th Sunday Run; meet at the Ehrlich Rd Trail Head.
June 28, Saturday 7-9 a.m. Davis Islands. Meet at Marjorie Park Marina.
June 29, Sunday, 7-8 a.m. Since there are five Sundays in June, we’ll return to Hixon Park. Meet on the Riverwalk behind the park.
