Al Lopez Park

Located just north of Raymond James Stadium, at 4810 N. Himes Avenue, this sweet little park includes a 1.15 mile paved main loop, with another half mile that can be added to that on the north end.

Al Lopez Park is a popular venue for 5k races. Check the Run Tampa Race Calendar for local races. In fact, this is the location for our own Run Tampa Tinsel Run in December each year.

Bordered by Dale Mabry, Hillsborough, Himes, and Dr. Martin Luther King, this park is convenient for a run of a few miles. Sometimes Run Tampa Track Groups train there.

Restrooms: Three sets of restrooms besides the ones in Cordelia Hunt Recreation Center.

Water: Water fountains outside restrooms and at the rec center.

Cordelia Hunt Rec Center: Restrooms, water fountain, showers, lockers.
