You’ve landed in the right place. In Run Tampa’s Track Program, you’ll work on form, cadence, balance, strength and more. Our goal is to help you achieve your personal goal.
Three 12-Week Sessions:
Fall, Sept 3 – November 21st
Winter, Dec 3 – February 18th
Spring, March 3 – May 19th
Two Locations, Both on Tuesday Night
Coach Deb’s group:
Beginner and intermediate
Tuesday, 6:30 pm.
Al Lopez Park, 4810 Himes Avenue (North Tampa)
Coach Karen’s group:
Intermediate and advanced
Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.
Coleman Middle School, 1724 S. Manhattan Ave. (South Tampa)
The track program does not include individualized training schedules and coaching outside of the track workout; however, the coaches will provide general guidance on how to train the rest of the week. Coach Karen accepts some runners for personalized coaching for an additional fee.
1. Advanced Group: Tuesday nights at Coleman, for people already in good condition, doing 30 miles per week, and looking for a high intensity workout.
2. Intermediate Group: This group can attend either Al Lopez or Coleman. For people seeking a less intense workout or with a base of less than 30 miles a week. (***People who want to stick with walk/run should go to Al Lopez.)
3. Beginner Group: Tuesday night at Al Lopez Park. For people just getting started running.
$140 per 12-week session. ($112 over age 60) All participants must be club members.
Coach Karen offers personalized coaching, specifically geared to the individualized runner’s goals. This requires a one on one conference and application. Click here for details.
